Cross-country Skiing and Snowshoeing

Two cross-country centers serve Nordic skiers and snowshoers, one at Golden Peak and one at the Vail Golf Course. Both offer lessons, tours and rentals. Call the Golden Peak Center at 479-3210.

Vail has beefed up its Cross-Country, Telemark and Snowshoe Adventure Center at Golden Peak, where guided tours and instruction are available through the Vail Cross-Country Ski School. Instructors specialize in cross-country skiing, telemark skiing, snowshoeing and skate skiing.
