Child care:

The Little Adventures Children's Center takes ages 6 weeks to 6 years.

Snowplay for ages 2–3, with lunch, cost $95; half day, $75 with lunch. Canyon Cubs, day care with a one-hour private lesson costs an additional $95 (an additional $110 during holidays).

Full day for ages 6 weeks to 2 years old costs $95; half day, $75. Day care is offered 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. No hourly rates are available.

Parents should supply a change of clothes and snow clothes. Reservations are recommended at all times but essential during holiday periods. For advance reservations, call 615-3402. For same-day reservations, call (435) 615-8036.

Other options: The Park City Chamber of Commerce can refer visitors to child-care facilities or babysitting services. Call (800) 453-1360; 649-6100. Baby's Away (800-379-9030; 645-8823) rents and will deliver baby needs to your lodge, such as cribs, strollers, car seats and toys. The Day Care Center keeps a list of independent babysitters.

CHILDREN'S ABILITY LEVELS

The Canyons Children's lessons:

Canyon Cats, for ages 4–6, skiing only, is the most-requested program. It is a full day that includes lunch, lift ticket and equipment, plus indoor play time for younger children. It costs $135 ($144 during holidays) for lifts, lessons and equipment. Children with equipment and lift tickets pay $124 ($132 holidays).

Canyon Carvers, ages 7–14, skiing or riding costs $153 ($164 holidays) for lessons, lifts and equipment. Children who do not need lifts and equipment pay $124 ($132). Reservations are highly recommended; call (435) 615-3449.
