Valley's Playschool in the Sun Valley Village offers care for kids 3 months to 6 years, but the upper age limit is not strictly enforced, should you have a 7-year-old who doesn't ski or ride. Ages 3 months2 years, cost is $95 full day, $75 for a half day. Toilet-trained and older, $85 full day, $67 half day.

priority is given to guests in Sun Valley resort hotels and condos.

Other options: Super Sitters
(788-5080) has screened sitters trained in CPR and first
aid who do in-room babysitting. Babys Away (800-327-9030;
788-7582) rents and will deliver baby needs to your lodge, such
as cribs, strollers, car seats and toys.

Childrens lessons: An all-day program, including lunch, is $135 for kids 412 years old; snowboard lessons are for kids 712. Beginners ages 45 take the all-day Beginner Camp for $160 (reservations required during holidays). Tiny Tracks is a ski lesson from noon to 1 p.m. for kids 34 years old; cost is $80. Discounts are available for multiple days in all children's programs. Lift tickets are extra.
Intermediate
to expert skiers and riders can join the All
Mountain Team, which introduces kids to mountain safety, backcountry
excursions and freeriding.
