Child care: Available for children 6 weeks to 6 years. All-day pro­grams are $55, in­cluding lunch; half-day programs are $35. Bring diapers, formula and food for infants. Reservations are required; call (207) 824-5959. The main child care facility is at South Ridge. Child care, day and evening, also is available at the Grand Summit Resort Hotel and the Jordan Grand Resort Hotel.

Children's lessons: Sunday River’s children’s programs are among the best-organized and smoothest-running at any resort. The flow from equipment rental to classes is outstanding and all facilities are separate, which makes dealing with youngsters much easier. Resrvations are required for all children’s lessons.

Tiny Turns is a one-hour private lesson for 3-year-olds that’s part of a half- or full-day session in day care. Cost is $62 for a half day; $78 for a full day.

Mogul Munchkins is for ages 3–6 (skiing only). A full-day clinic with lunch costs $75; $85 with rentals. Half-day clinics are $60; $70 with rentals. Lift tickets are included.

Mogul Meisters is for ages 7–14 (skiing and snowboarding). Full-day costs $72; $87 with rentals. Half-day clinics cost $60; $70 with rentals. Lift tickets are extra.
