Dining (Area Code 418)
The
tiny outpost lodge at the base of Peak Four has crepes, soup
and sandwiches. Lunch and light snacks are also available in Le
Bar Le 4 Foyers (the bar of the four fireplaces) in the base
lodge, a place for meeting people, dancing, and playing pool. Le
Pub St-Edmond ($$$) serves delicious smoked-meat sandwiches
in an English pub atmosphere. The Feu Follet ($$), attached
to the base lodge and adjacent to Le Bar Le 4 Foyers, is open for
breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For an elegant meal, retreat
to Le Gourmet Champetre (848-2551; $$$) at the Le Manoir
du Lac Dulage for fine dining overlooking the lake. Entrees include
striped bass, grilled sea scallops, braised lamb and veal sweetbread.
A four-course table dhote is $32.95. LIncontournable
($$$), also at Le Manoir, is a bar with fireplace, TV and
pool table. It serves a light menu of burgers, salads and pizzas.
