Who skis at a discount: Seniors 65–69 pay youth prices. Morning (8 a.m.-noon) and afternoon (noon-4 p.m.) half-day tickets available for $44.

* Notes: If you’re staying for more than one day here, the wise move is to buy a lodging package that includes tickets and lessons.

Holiday prices are higher. Early- and late-season prices are lower.

Prices include 6 percent Vermont sales tax.

At Smugglers' Notch, the best way to save money on lift tickets is to buy a Bash Badge. This allows all holders to pay $20 any day, no restrictions, all season long. The Bash Badge also comes with other discounts such as 50 percent off equipment rentals, group lessons and cross-country trail fees, as well as 20% off at 3-Mountain Outitters (the resort's sports shop), all children's ski and snowboard camps and the Treasures nursery. The Bash Badge costs $119 for adults, $99 for youth. But purchase in the early pre-season and save up to $40.

Smugglers also offers the Bash Badge Plus ($189 for adults, $169 for youth), which has the same benefits as the Bash Badge with the additon of free skiing or riding pre- and post-season.
