Lessons (2006/07 prices)

Prices below are for regular season. Value season has lower prices.

Group lessons: For beginners and intermediates, $75 for three hours (ski or snowboard). Intermediate and expert skiers choose from skill workshops such as fine-tuning parallel turns, tackling black-diamond terrain, learning moguls and advancing to all-mountain skiing, $75 for three hours. Advanced skiers and better can take a two-hour Power Clinic to become stronger, technical skiers in all terrain for $35. Advanced snowboarders and better can choose between freeriding or park and pipes workshops, $75 for three hours.

First-timer package: The Learn to Ski Preferred Experience uses specially designed skis and is limited to five students. The Learn to Snowboard Preferred experience uses specially designed snowboards and is limited to four students. These all-day programs cost $175 for lesson and rentals. Lift tickets are extra. Reservations required; call (800) 222-7275. A three-hour group lesson is also available for $75 (beginner lift ticket included; rentals extra).

Private lessons: For one person: $120 for one hour, $240 for two hours; $530 for six hours. Discounts are available for up to six people.

Racing: NASTAR is on the Blanche trail Wednesday through Saturday. Two runs cost $6; each additional run is $1. Park City Dual Challenge is set up on Clementine nearly every day. The cost is $1 per run; $5 for seven runs.
