Cross-country and snowshoeing
 Snowbasin (801-620-1000) has a cross-country area with 26 km. of groomed cross-country and snowshoeing trails.The Stadium trail is the easiest and loops 2 km. from the Grizzly Center to Earl’s Lodge.The Meadows has just under 4 km. of set and skating tracks.The Maples Loop is a 1.6 km. trail that opens some ungroomed areas.Tougher cross-country loops are the 5 km.Old Road to the Basin and the 3.6 km Outback, both for aggressive cross-country skiing or snowshoeing.
North Fork Park (801-399-8491) has 12 km. of trails that are groomed weekly. Suggested donation for use of the trails is $1 per person. Snowshoes and cross-country skis are available for rent at the nearby Diamond Peak Mountain Sports Outfitters in Eden (801-745-0101). Rentals are $7 for adults and $6 for children.
