SkiBowl has a snow tubing park and an adjacent Extreme Hill served by a tow ropes, dogsled rides, a snowskate park and horse-drawn sleigh rides, some with dinner, plus an indoor two-story play zone. The big hit is the 500-foot zipline. Timberline Mountain Guides (800-464-7704 or 503-272-3699), in Government Camp, shows a lot of ice climbing beginners the ropes. At Timberline you can relax in the pool, sauna or hydro-spa. Hood River has some nice boutique shopping.
