Child care: Ages 2 months to 6 years. Cost is $95 for a full day with lunch, half-day (mornings + lunch) is $80. With morning snowplay for ages 3-6, all day costs $115. Babies 2-15 months can have a one-on-one Nanny all day for $280.

The Keystone Children's Center at River Run is in the Silver Mill Plaza at the east end of the village

Children's lessons: Kids 3–4 years old can take a learn-to-ski program that includes lesson, lift ticket, lunch. Cost is $119 for a full day beginning promptly at 9 a.m. Reservations are required; call (800) 255-3715. The full-day ski or snowboard program for ages 5–15 includes lift ticket, lesson and lunch for $130. Rentals for all programs are an additional $16. Value-season prices are somewhat less. Helmets are recommended for all children enrolled in ski and snowboard programs; helmet rentals cost about $12. On-line rentals can also be made at rentskis.com and will be ready when you arrive.

A special one-hour lesson where parents can learn to teach their little ones is Mom, Dad & Me; cost is $90 and reservations are required.

Keystone puts a big emphasis on families and children's lessons. Parts of the mountain are designated Children Only.
