there
By air: Burlington
International Airport is served by Continental, JetBlue, United
and USAirways. It takes 1.5 hours to drive from the airport to the
mountain.
By car: Jay Peak Resort
is on Route 242 in northern-central Vermont, just below the Canadian
border, about equidistant between I-91 and I-89. Sample driving
times: Boston, 3.5 hours; Albany, 4.5 hours; New York City, 6.5
hours; Toronto, 7 hours; Montréal, 1.5 hours.
By bus: Vermont Transit serves nearby Newport from all major New England points. Ground transportation is available.
By train: AMTRAK Vermonter to St. Albans, 45 minutes away. Ground transfers available to Jay Peak.
Getting around: Bring
a car if you want to venture off mountain.
