The town of Manchester is a tourism mecca with accommodations from giant resorts and B&Bs to a slew of lesser-priced roadside motels. The Manchester and Mountains Chamber (362-2100) and the Londonderry Chamber (824-8178) can help with arrangements. The hotels and B&Bs listed below are near the ski areas.

Bromley: For slopeside lodging stay at Bromley Sun Lodge (824-6941; 800-722-2159; $–$$$; photo right), with  economical midweek packages. Condos and private homes (up to 4 bedrooms) are either slopeside or fed by a shuttle to the base lodge. Contact Bromley Village Rental (802-824-5522)

Regional: Down the road, on Rte. 11, the Swiss Inn (800-847-9477; 824-3442; $–$$) has basic rooms but a wonderful restaurant. One mile down the road from Bromley is the Wiley Inn (888-843-6600; 824-6600; $–$$), good for couples and families alike. Johnny SeeSaw's, just east of the base area, (800-424-2729) has been entertaining guests since the 1920's.
