Brighton Ski Resort, Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah

Dining (Area Code 801)

The Alpine Rose ($) is the main slopeside cafeteria. If you like big hearty breakfasts, you won't be disappointed. You can also get lunch and dinner here. When the weather's good, try the barbecue on the sundeck. The Brighton Chalet ($) at the base of Mt. Millicent, serves quick meals.

The slopeside Molly Green's ($–$$) is the place for sit-down pub service and local brews. Try the Evergreen Dip with tortilla chips and crustini bread washed down with a microbrew. The Mt. Millicent wrap with hummus, assorted veggies and a chopped veggie patty is also very tasty.

Locals like to head to the Silver Fork Lodge (533-9977) just down the road for their meals, no matter whether it's breakfast ($), lunch ($) or dinner ($$–$$$). You name it, it's on the menu.
