Bretton Woods Resort, New Hampshire

Cross-country and snowshoeing

This area averages 200 inches of snow every year. The 100 km. of cross-country and snowshoeing trails are on the grounds of the Mount Washington Hotel and offer 1,700 acres of spectacular scenery. The trail system is dotted with a series of restaurants and lounges. Intrepid cross-country skiers can glide from the top of the Bretton Woods ski area back to the hotel. Snowshoers can use the skate lanes of the cross-country trails with a trail pass. Complimentary guided 90-minute ski tours through the Ammonoosuc Valley are available. They leave from the Nordic Center daily.

The variety and extent of trails rivals that of the nearby Jackson Ski Touring and Vermont’s Stowe system. Here's a more detailed trail map.
