Breckenridge Nordic Center, Gold Run Nordic Center and Frisco Nordic Center are operated as a cooperative system, providing about 100 km. of trails on one pass.

Breckenridge Nordic Ski Center (453-6855), near Peak 8 base on Ski Hill Road and on the free town bus route, has 30 km. of double-set trails for all abilities. Equipment rentals, lessons, and guided backcountry tours are available.

Gold Run Nordic Center (547-7889), off Tiger Run Road at the Breckenridge Golf Course, grooms 20 km. of trails for beginner through advanced skiers. Equipment rentals (including snowshoes), lessons, and guided backcountry tours are available. It's run by the town and has rolling ski trails and great views of the Ten Mile Mountain Range for photo backdrops.

Frisco Nordic Center (668-0866), on Hwy. 9, has 46 km. of groomed classic and freestyle trails and 14 km. of snowshoe trails that traverse the peninsula of Lake Dillon. Rentals and instruction are available.
