Attitash in the Mt. Washington Valley, NH

At Attitash visitors revel in a paradoxical mix of a storied past, chock full of alpine racing lore and Mount Washington Valley ski club tradition, and a bright future focused on a commitment to the freesyle enthusiasts that give the resort its soul.

While Attitash Bear Peak Ski Resort, Mount Washington Valley, New HampshireAttitash enjoys one of the more

colorful pasts in the storied Mt. Washington Valley, the resort continues to set the bar high with a reinvented terrain park offering that gives the resort a distinctive new atmosphere.

Attitash truly serves up excellent skiing and riding at all levels including steep, narrow, wide and groomed runs, all with state of the art American Skiing Company snowmaking service. Children's learning and competition programs are time-tested and set the resort apart from its peers.

The competitive edge for 2007 is an overhauled and re-branded terrain park initiative that leaves no doubt about the freestyle options here. Known simply as ATP (Attitash Terrain Parks and Pipe), this initiative includes a pair of freeride progression parks and a season-long freeride series.

Of course, there is still plenty of diverse, family-friendly ski & ride terrain, with the convenient slope-side Grand Summit Hotel and home cooking available on both sides of the tracks (the Polar Express rail line bisects the Attitash and Bear Peak sides of the resort).
